I’m excited to meet you and begin our work together. Therapy works best when you are comfortable with your counselor — feeling understood, valued, and safe. I am passionate about helping my clients better understand themselves and their relationships. Together we will explore what matters to you, and work together to develop skills that will improve your day-to-day life. I enjoy helping my clients find balance and purpose as they discover and utilize their personal strengths. We will work together to challenge negative thought and behavior patterns, and find more effective ways of relating to ourselves and others.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and offer online sessions for residents of Kentucky and Ohio. I have been working as a mental health counselor and therapist for over 6 years, working with individuals, couples, and families. My specialties include:

  • Working through complex, chronic trauma experienced in childhood
  • Boundary work to improve marriage and family relationships
  • Self-care and self-compassion to address burnout, body image issues, disordered eating, and perfectionism
  • Life transitions
  • Exploring gender and sexual identity
  • Exploring personal values to create an authentic, joyful life.

I utilize many different evidenced-based practices to create a custom intervention plan for each client including:

  • Dilectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Attachment Theory
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBST)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy
  • Intuitive Eating for Disordered Eating
